Mkuu wa Wilaya huteuliwa na Mheshimiwa Rais wa Zanzibar na Mwenyekiti wa Baraza la Mapinduzi kwa mujibu wa Sheria ya Tawala za Mikoa nam.8 ya mwaka 1998 pamoja na marekebisho yake ya Mwaka 2014, kifungu cha 4(1) na majukumu yake ni kama yanavyo someka katika sheria hiyo kifungu 14 (1) (a-m).

These achievements are not the work of a single office or leader—they are the result of our collective will and deep-rooted belief that Chake Chake deserves the very best. We’ve faced challenges. We still do. But we face them together—as neighbors, as leaders, and as guardians of a shared future. In every village, every school, and every clinic, I see signs of resilience. I see young minds hungry for opportunity, farmers innovating with limited resources, women leading boldly in local councils, and elders guiding us with wisdom. As your District Administrative Secretary, I reaffirm my commitment to transparent governance, participatory leadership, and citizen-centered service. Let it be known: no voice in Chake Chake is too small to be heard, and no idea too bold to be pursued. I call upon all of us—from government officers to grassroots organizers—to rise above divisions, to innovate, and to hold firm to our values. In unity, there is strength.
